About Us
Welcome to a new era in the sport of bowling on the Monterey Peninsula. The Monterey Peninsula United States Bowling Congress was chartered in 2006 as a merged Association to replace the ABC and WIBC Associations at Monterey Lanes with the United States Bowling Congress.
We serve all bowlers in the Monterey, Seaside, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Big Sur, Del Rey Oaks, Sand City and Marina areas with bowling competition in the form of leagues and tournaments. We provide instructional bowling and scholarship programs for youth bowlers and a social environment for seniors. We have day and night leagues for those who want to be more competitive. We do a charitable fundraiser for the Bowlers for Veterans Link (BVL) each year. The monies we collect along with other bowlers from all over the state of California go to help veterans programs for rehabilitation, recreation, VA medical centers and outbound programs.
Our Mission Statement:
The United States Bowling Congress, as the national governing body, ensures the
integrity and protects the future of the sport, provides programs and services
and enhances the bowling experience.
